The Triangle Lake Equestrian Camp is a beautifully set up horse camp complete with hor
se corrals and stalls and a drinking water tank for horses (not for people). The horse camp is located about 2 1/2 miles north of Olallie Lake on FR 4220. Drinking water for campers is available at the resort store.
Trails are in good riding condition usually from mid July through September. The Pacific Crest Trail runs through the Olallie Lake Scenic Area (OLSA), which is a beautiful trail for horseback riding, among many other trails in the area.
Horses are not permitted to drink from the Olallie Lake Scenic Area lakes.
Shoreline erosion and turbidity levels are greatly effected by shoreline drinking. Please bring your own supply of water or use buckets to draw water from the Triangle Lake Equestrian Facility Tank.
Horseback riding is not permitted on the Olallie Lake trail or Monon Lake Trail. Horseback riding is permitted on all other trails in the OLSA. Please be respectful to other trail users.
Refer to the Olallie Lake Scenic Area (OLSA) map for general trail distances (OLSA trail maps are available at the resort store). The following are just a few of the trails to explore.
